The API Q1 and Q2 Applications this year – CHARTER4 supported more than 30% of applicants
API Q1 and Q2 have a significant part to play in the Oil and Gas Industry. The API Standards
Quality Management in the Oil and Gas industry falls under the API Specifications Q1 and Q2. API standards are for certification of either companies manufacturing components or who provide services in this industry. Critically, the emphasis is on the identification of and compliance to good practice, training, and improving quality standards. Significantly, risk assessment and risk management also form an important part of the structure of the standards. The API Q1 and Q2 specifications are based on ISO 9001. However, they maintain supplementary conditions for industry-specific requirements. The Specifications
The two specifications cover slightly different sectors of the industry as follows…
